WHO AM I?

I'm Michelle Grace, graphic designer from the San Francisco Bay Area and creative director of decembergrace design. With the talent for organizing and presenting complex data in uniquely interesting and easy to follow formats, my ultimate goal is to showcase your information in the most relevant way possible. Combining ingenuity with purpose as inspiration and therefore acting as the core element of my designs, the end presentation is unified, effective, and captivating. I have the ability to take your basic concept to an entirely different level.

WHAT DO I OFFER?

decembergrace design creates high-quality experiences for both the printed and virtual page, specializing in art direction involving a broad range of custom collateral, corporate identity, logo design, packaging, event materials, and product photography. I work closely with clients to align specific design objectives with marketing goals and target audiences. I fully manage projects from concepting to production, and ensure that each project instills a lasting impression. 

WHAT'S MY BACKGROUND?

Backed with a visual communications degree, I've designed in a corporate environment for over five years, which has provided me fluent experience from both creative and project management standpoints. I can successfully design in the smallest of formats (logos, brand identity elements, business cards) to high volume and large scale collateral (signage, proposals, service brochures). From another perspective, I'm an avid photographer and capture color, texture, and mood-setting moments for inspiration, centering around macro and candid shots with a photojournalistic flair. I am resourceful as I am creative, interestingly known to challenge and push the surprising capabilities of the average camera phone, and proving truth in the old adage--the best camera is the one that's with you. On yet another layer, I am highly immersed with current consumer tech, keeping on the pulse of the latest news, following tech blogs, and often becoming the early adopter.

WHY decembergrace?

Originating from the intention to customize a unique identity, needing something simple to represent another nuance of myself—December born with a middle name of Grace—a blend of the two launched the brand decembergrace. It's almost poetic :)
